Adopt a Dog Save a Life – A Powerful Story of Edie

Adopt a dog save a life

We have heard this before.  I have written about this before.  Many dogs go into pounds and rescue centers.  If they are not adopted fairly quickly, they end up being euthanized.

This is a real shame.  Many dogs may not appear to be the best dog on the outside but can actually be great pets.

I have recently written about adopt a dog save a life, especially if you adopt an older dog.  Older dogs are generally the first dogs euthanized.  This can be heart breaking.

I recently viewed a video about a dog that was within one hour of being euthanized.  The dog’s outside appearance and her behavior were not at all desirable.

But Edie was one of the lucky dogs.  She was adopted thanks to the love of the adoption center that was holding her and her new parents.

The name of the video is “Edie – rescued an hour before euthanasia.”  I recommend that you watch it.  You may have seen it before.

Here is the video:

What is your opinion of adopt a dog save a life?  There are many sweet dogs out there that end up being killed because of their outer appearance, or their age, or they are scared and confused.  I encourage each of us to at least consider adopting an older dog.  Thanks for your comments.
